Composite bellows

A novel process for the production of bellows, prototypes and pilot series. These bellows are manufactured using a process developed by us. An extremely hard-wearing material is created by combining high-strength synthetic fibres with rubber.

MATERIAL

An elastic, seamless circular knitted fabric made of synthetic material is coated with nitrile or silicone rubber. This creates a composite of the high-strength synthetic fibres and the rubber. The composite material has high strength. It has the well-known favourable properties of rubber bellows.

PROPERTIES

The bellows are extremely resistant to oil, chemicals and thermal stress. The correct choice of rubber coating allows the bellows to be matched to the desired area of application.
