The customers' expectations are in principle our benchmark. A certified management system enables us to meet these expectations. It causes a constant activation and review of work and organisational processes. It prevents a spasmodic adherence to impracticable programmes and methods. The driving force for our entrepreneurial actions are the changes and demands of the market. They provide us with indications for the product range, for necessary new developments, for the optimisation of manufacturing processes..

REACH

REACH is the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. The regulation, which entered into force on 1 June 2007, was adopted to streamline and improve the previously existing regulatory framework for chemicals in the European Union (EU).

August Penkert GmbH, as the manufacturer of an article, is a downstream user within the meaning of REACH. The products you purchase from Penkert are articles and therefore not subject to registration under REACH. As a downstream user within the meaning of REACH, August Penkert GmbH is in principle not subject to any registration obligation.

In our own interest and to ensure a high level of product safety, we adhere to strict quality regulations in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. The implementation of REACH is particularly important to us. We therefore follow the resulting requirements intensively.

We are permanently in contact with our suppliers from whom we obtain chemical substances and preparations that we use during our production process (e.g. auxiliary materials such as lubricants, adhesives, paints, varnishes, etc.).

In most cases, our processes are widely used applications that are carried out in large quantities in many industries. Therefore, many of our suppliers have already informed us that a pre-registration or later registration of the relevant substances will be carried out.
